I have two computers in the library with big pop-up problems.
I have a popup stopper on these computers but it does not help.
These popups don't pop up when the internet browser is open and someone is
using the internet; they pop up when we're away from the computer and appear
on the desktop. The other day, I had almost 60 of them on one computer when
I walked in in the morning.
Both computers are running on Windows 98 According to Norton, there are no
viruses on the computers. The day I found all the pop-ups, I ran Ad-Aware
and got rid of all the stuff it found. That night, I went home at seven in
the evening, and came back and there were the pop-ups AND I ran Ad-Aware
again and it found 14 new things!!
There must be some program on the computer causing all this to happen. How
do I find it?
