Ideas for bibliography or webliography

Folks:
You been wonderful group of people coming up with some creative ideas and projects.

For a class I need to do an "annotated bibliography/webliography:(detailed resource 
for staff)."

I have no problem doing it but I want to possible use it in the future.  This past 
year we celebrated Lewis & Clark anniversity and in December its the first flight 
of the Wright brothers.  We also had "Year if the Ocean" etc.

Is there a web site that tells about special anniversary or "Year of ______ " that 
will be coming up next year or two?  Is there a famous author 100th birthday?
