Hi All,
I am in the process of working on a book which includes an extensive =
bibliogaphy of books to use with grades 4 through high school. I have =
many titles in mind, but want to be sure I evaluate as many as possible, =
especially newer books. I would love to hear your suggestions! What =
are your favorite books to use with older students? Here are a few of =
the topics/areas I am investigating.
History--in any era--those books that touch the heart and make =
history seem more real to the reader.
Humor--those picture books where the humor is advanced and more =
appreciated by an older reader.
Science
Social Issues
Biography (the new When Marion Sang is a great example)
Poetry
and any others that leap to mind. =20
I am monitoring the list from the archives right now, so please respond =
to me off list. I will post a hit for everyone.
Thanks
Molly Pearson
