A young girl is viciously murdered and twelve-year-old Jason was the
last to see her alive.  Everyone in the town (including a senator) is
screaming for answers to the local police bring in a man who "always
gets a confession."  He intends to interview Jason and knows he can
get a confession out of him... should he force a confession from
someone who is innocent... and what happens to Jason's thoughts
when this is tried?  This 154 page book, while short, is very intense.  I
had stopped purchasing Cormier's books for my school because they
were to much for my school and community but this one hits the
money.
