TARGET: story or section to illustrate

Hi,  I am helping with a summer reading program that deals with illustratio=
n.  I am looking for a descriptive passage to read to 4th-6th graders that =
they will then illustrate.  I have a couple of ideas but would like a =
couple more.  I would appreciate any suggestions you might have. Thanks =
