Graphic novel success stories

Do you have a success story about graphic novels in
your media collection?  Have students been coming in
to your library that you have never seen before?  What
has been the impact of graphic novels/comic books on
your students' reading habits?
Please share your stories as I am collecting case
studies for my professional book that I am writing for
