John Lennon assassination

We are looking for the following information:  a taped version of Walter
Cronkite's evening news program reporting the John Lennon shooting.  If
anybody could provide me  information relevant to obtaining such an item I
would be thankful.  A teacher had a taped copy but it was in an old format
and lost it in the process of trying to convert it.  Your help will be
